Writing over meetings

We default to async written communication. Decisions get documented. Meetings require an agenda. Your calendar will not be destroyed here.

Radical transparency on score quality

We publish our methodology publicly and discuss signal weaknesses openly — internally and externally. If a signal doesn't work, we remove it.

High ownership, clear scope

Every role owns something end-to-end. No one is waiting for approval to make a call within their domain. Scope is wide and explicitly defined at hire.

No jerks policy — enforced

We've turned down strong candidates because of how they treated people in the process. Technical excellence does not override basic decency here.

Interview Process

Fast, transparent, respectful of your time

Four stages, typically completed in two weeks. We don't do unpaid take-homes or multi-day projects.

Intro call

30 minutes with the hiring manager. Mutual fit, role context, your questions. No technical assessment.

Technical screen

60-minute live session. Collaborative problem-solving relevant to the actual role. No whiteboard LeetCode.

3

Team interviews

Three 30-minute conversations: cross-functional peer, direct manager, and a senior leader. All scheduled same day.

4

Offer

Offer delivered within 48 hours of final interview. Comp band shared at stage 1 — no surprises at the end.
